The holiday season is a time of joy and giving, but for many families, it can be a season of struggle. That’s why this year, PAL is proud to support the Geelong Giving Tree Appeal, run by Meli and The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre, to help families in need create special memories for their children during this challenging time.
Why This Matters
As a team rooted in the Geelong community, we feel strongly about giving back to the place we call home. Every dollar raised through the Giving Tree Appeal becomes an e-gift card, giving struggling parents the dignity and joy of choosing the perfect gift for their children.
Sarah, a single mum, shared her story:
“Last year, I received vouchers from Meli. My only wish was to put one present under the tree for my children, and I was able to do this thanks to the Geelong Giving Tree Appeal.”
How You Can Help
We’d love your support in spreading joy and kindness this season. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Donate online now: Contribute to PAL’s fundraiser page—whether it’s $5 or $50, every dollar counts and is tax-deductible. Click to Donate Here.
- Leave a gift in our reception: Bring a new, unwrapped gift for kids or teens to our office reception (Office 1, Level 1, 343 Pakington Street, Newtown). Gifts will be delivered to Our Village, formerly Geelong Mums, for wrapping and distribution. Not sure what to buy? Reach out, and we’d be happy to help.
